Early career engineers and computer scientists interested in the growing field of technical product management received good news recently, when Carnegie Mellon University announced its new Master of Science in Product Management program. The degree, offered jointly by the university's School of Computer Science and Tepper School of Business, aims to turn computer scientists and engineers into product managers — the specialists in technical organizations who ensure that the company delivers the right product to the right people at the right time in the right format. The 12-month master's program provides a deep dive into both the technical skills and business acumen you need to be successful in this high-demand area.
The program is led by Anthony Tomasic, founding director of the MCDS program; along with Bob Monroe, associate teaching professor in the Tepper School; and Jason Hong, associate professor in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute.
